Although we are not Jewish, we have been honored to help with this ceremony for the B’Nai Enumah Congregation in Tulsa the last three years.  This wonderful tradition was started by Rabbi Fitzman with the help of our friend, Bill Kinyon, about eight years ago.  When Bill retired this year, we were happy to carry on for him.  This year, we had several helpers, our friends Bill Hill, Larry Dobelbower, and Melinda and Randy Stone.  A big thank you to them.  And also a thank you to Rabbi Fitzman and the congregation at B’Nai Enumah for letting us share this with them.  It touches my heart every year.    Click here to read the poem for this ceremony. 

Sunday, November 2, 2008, we will be at Camp Loughridge in Tulsa for Wings of Prayer.  This fund raiser benefits so many in Tulsa because it helps provide counseling to those that might otherwise not be able to afford it.  The Center for Counseling and Education offers therapy on a sliding scale and this event is so important for that.  For more details on attending or donating, click here.

Presentations to children’s/school groups

We have done many presentations for different groups.  This are amazing birds and we love to education the kids about what they can do.  When children learn respect for an animal, it makes them a better person.
