Creating beautiful memories

Webster’s Wings

We have a variety of poems and scripture that can be read at your service.  Listed are my personal favorites to give you a little bit of an idea of what we have.

Psalm 55:6  Oh, that I had wings like a dove!  I would fly away and be at rest

Funeral service

I’ll be There

Do not come to my grave and cry.

To find my spirit, search the sky

For tiny birds or wings of white.

Don’t come to stand and weep or bring

Pretty flowers. Instead, please sing

A song or feel the autumn wind

As it blows past your tender cheek.

That is me. I am not asleep.

Look up when you search for me.

I’ll be the rain on summer days.

And with the children as they play.

I have not gone so far away.

Look up among the stars at night.

See me riding the rays of light

Gently brushing leaves. Watch a flight

Of snow white doves. They will lift, tease

My soul, and then so softly weave

It through clouds of white, over seas,

Under the breeze, and far above

The trees, knitting a fabric of love.

I’ll be there on the wings of doves.

Wedding

An Emblem of Love

White Doves have been an emblem of love for centuries on end, because

a mated pair stays together faithful and true to each other. Today we

send two doves skyward as a pair, symbolic of newlyweds beginning

their life journey together.

As the doves fly free, overhead, a perfect pair, rejoice in the vows

exchanged today. May this marriage always bring, great joy, fidelity,

hope, and respect, white wings and wonderful things.

Two Doves, Two Loves

Two Doves fly up to the sky

Two Loves below, eye to eye.

Two Doves riding upon air

Two Loves, one path to share.

Each a part of a loving whole

Two hearts beating, just one soul.
